Wearing a Blush Pink Tulle Skirt and Plaid Shirt

If I could look like Misty Copeland in a pink tutu, I totally would. However, I would probably get some weird looks if I attempted to wear one in public, considering the fact that, not only am I not Misty, but I am also not a ballerina. However, I do love tulle…especially when it’s blush pink tulle.

I get excited for any opportunity to wear a skirt that I can twirl around in. So when that skirt is a blush pink tulle skirt? Sign me up.
I’m guilty of wanting to save my midi-length skirts-especially this one- for a “special occasion.” But let’s face it: this skirt needs to see daylight. Heck, this skirt needs to see the fluorescent lights in my office.

As long it’s paired with the right top, you can totally wear this during the day. I wore a pattern with it, and had an outfit that can easily transition from work to happy hour. I also love mixing textures, just to keep it interesting.

Would you ever wear tulle out and about during the day?

CONGRATULATIONS on your new blog!! I happen to think you look awesome in anything.! I do love your not “saving” that gorgeous skirt for a special event. I think the work to Happy Hour transition is a great idea. Celebrate the ordinary day and make it special!
