Navy Blue Scalloped Romper
Oh, rompers. I used to hate rompers. I called them “adult onesies.” Over time, I grew to think they were kind of cute. Until I tried to use the bathroom in one. I immediately regretted my decision to wear it. The zipper I couldn’t reach. Having to practically strip down in the bathroom. Gag.
And then, I began to become envious of everyone in their cute rompers. The chicness of a dress, but the comfort of shorts. I was sold. Then, I bought this navy blue scalloped romper.
I can literally wear this thing anywhere. I actually wore it to work not long ago. I threw a cardigan over it, tossed my hair in a bun, and put on some flats. The nice thing about the navy color, is it’s totally easy to dress up or down. Plus, the scallop detail gives it an interesting touch. I can wear this to a wedding if I want with a pair of fancy shoes and a dressy necklace. I could wear it on my Saturday errands to Whole Foods and Sprouts.
I think these wedges give it a little bit of that “in between” vibe as well. I wore this to dinner at Culinary Dropout (get the meatloaf, you won’t regret it) and never felt uncomfortable or “too dressed up, or “not dressed up enough.” Ladies, you know what I mean…Worst feeling ever.
So when I was like, “I definitely need to share this navy blue scalloped romper with the world!” I ran into a problem: I could not find this romper anywhere! I bought it at T.J. Maxx. So I began my search. To my delight, I’ve found some similar styles. Take a look…
